Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: 8 July 2026

1. Purpose and scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets the rules for using Sunni Marriage Network ("we", "us", "our"), a Muslim matrimonial introduction service operated as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. It applies to all users, all profile content, all messages, and all payment-related activity connected to our service.

2. Who may use this service

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must use the service only for genuine, lawful Islamic marriage intentions.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep your profile truthful and up to date.

3. Prohibited activity and content

You must not use the service to:

  • Engage in illegal activity, including fraud, money laundering, terrorism financing, or any criminal offence.
  • Impersonate another person, create fake identities, or misrepresent your age, marital status, religion, or intentions.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, blackmail, extort, or intimidate other users, their families, or staff.
  • Share, request, or promote sexually explicit, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate content.
  • Collect, publish, or share another person's private information without explicit consent.
  • Send spam, run unsolicited promotions, or use automated tools to scrape or bulk-contact users.
  • Circumvent moderation, account restrictions, or any safety controls we apply.
  • Use the service in any way that could harm users, the community, or the reputation and lawful operation of Sunni Marriage Network.

4. Payment and billing misuse

All payments are processed through Stripe. You must not:

  • Use stolen cards, unauthorized payment methods, or false billing details.
  • Attempt to avoid approved payment flows by soliciting or requesting off-platform payments for access to this service.
  • Abuse disputes or chargebacks in bad faith, including claiming fraud where you knowingly authorized the purchase.

Suspected payment misuse may lead to suspension, account removal, and reporting to Stripe or relevant authorities where appropriate.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate potential breaches of this AUP and take action at our discretion, including warnings, temporary restrictions, profile removal, permanent account termination, and refusal of future access.

Where a breach is serious, repeated, or unlawful, we may preserve relevant records and share necessary information with payment providers and law enforcement as required by law.

Enforcement action taken under this AUP does not create a right to a refund. Please review our Terms of Service for full payment and refund terms.

6. Reporting concerns

To report abuse, suspected fraud, or policy violations, contact us at sunnimarriagenetwork@gmail.com. Please include any relevant screenshots, profile names, and dates so we can investigate promptly.

7. Updates to this policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
